Thanksgiving fun!
So we all had a fantastic long weekend and the weather couldn't have been better!
We spent a lot of time outside enjoying the last few days of warmth and it was awesome :)
I had some family up from New York and Jason's sister and her 4 kids were here visiting from out of town as well so we were busy! Turkey here....Turkey there...Stuffing here there and everywhere!! Tessa had a lot of fun with her cousins and was a happy camper!!
We are taking pictures of the newly renovated house tonight and then we are putting it up for sale in the next couple of days.....WOW! SO EXCITING!
This is such an experience because Jason and I have never done anything like this before. Fixing a house up to sell it is a huge deal.....stressful but hopefully it will pay off!

Back to work....booooooooooooooooo!!
So I returned to work on September 6th and it has been a rough go!
I know that some moms just ease back into it and some take a while but I am really not enjoying this ride. There are good days and bad days but I miss the little lady.....a lot.
Also.....I am pretty sure I totally forgot how to do my job while being away for a year. Some things are coming back to me but I am certain that I did not retain anything...or maybe just blocked it out?
On another note, the house is almost finished! Jason has been working really hard and it is almost done.....very happy about that! A few more things to do and that FOR SALE sign will be going up!
I will keep ya posted......literally :)

Our Baby Girl is 1!!!
It has been months since I have posted anything but I am back!!
We had a great summer and now it seems it is time to get down to business. We need to finish the house, put it up for sale and get to Costa Rica before the cold comes!!
We attended our friends Wedding in Trenton on August 20th and took Tessa on her first overnight adventure. We had a great time and Tessa was such a good girl! She slept through a lot of it......including the ceremony and 3 hours at the reception while the band played (the little Rocker likes it loud).
Tessa turned 1 on August 29th and she is walking!!! She took her first steps a couple of weeks ago and now she is a full fledged walker! Big Girl!!
We had her Birthday party at Gran & Grandad's house and all had a great time. Tessa got lots of presents and had lots of fun swimming in the pool. Her friends Brea and Neve came out to celebrate with her along with Granmama, Auntie Jessie and cousin Serenity. I baked her a chocolate cake and she had a pink tutu on.....so cute!
It has all happened so quickly I am glad we took pictures so I can look back on it and watch it all happen again in slower motion. This past year has been an amazing ride with her.......such an awesome little human being :)

Monday..Monday......ba dah....da da da dahhhhhh
Another rainy day here.....blah
Great weekend was had by all!! We celebrated Neve's first birthday on Saturday!!
Neve is the little girl of our good friends Worm & Stacey (yes I said Worm....real name Jerimie but he has been Worm to us since we have known him which is over half our lives so Worm it is!)
Tessa and Neve are only 4 months apart and play great together............it's so nice to see our little girls sitting on the floor playing and we took lots of pics because there was far too many cute moments to be caught on film.
Neve decided that this was the occasion to stand on her own for the very first time....AWESOME!! She was so proud of herself and just kept on doing it throughout the day.....It was great to see and her mum and dad were so proud :)
So......onto the big move/selling/fixing of the house part of our lives (not exactly in that order but it's all happening!) I have been packing up a lot of stuff and taking it to Valu Village for donation. I have kept way too much stuff over the years that I am never going to use. Hopefully someone finds it there and says WOW......I have always wanted a tea set like this!!
Jason did some work on the house this week as well and it is starting to come together. We would like to have the reno's complete and have the house up for sale by June which is going to be tight but we can do it! We would love to be in Costa Rica at the beginning of August so that is our goal. Tessa's 1st birthday at the beach!!
So.......a few more trips to Valu Village for this momma for sure......until next time!

The Great Cloth Diaper Change!!
Big exciting day!! Tessa was a part of the Great Cloth Diaper Change!! We celebrated Earth Day by joining the North American and International cloth diaper community to set the world record for the most cloth diapers changed simultaneously. We went to our local cloth diaper retailer and there was a whole bunch of other moms and babies there to take part as well. It was all official and stuff!! Guiness book of world records!! They say approx 10,0000 cloth diapered bums worldwide changed at the same time!! Big exciting day!!!
